Who We Are

Mission
Promote recovery and resilience for vulnerable populations by
providing tools needed to flourish

Vision
Provide quality mental health services for all.
There are many barriers that keep people from seeking and or receiving mental health treatment

Elevate MWS aims to knock down these barriers by providing lower cost options, and more accessible services to the people of the Permian Basin. We accomplish this by offering sliding scales, collaborating with other non-profits and flexible scheduling. We contract with providers who align with our mission and understand the diverse needs and culture of the area we serve.

Lisa McGee, LCSW

Lisa McGee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience working primarily in the areas of children, and families, mental health, and substance use. She has worked for state and local agencies directly with these populations to help families find solutions to parent- child conflicts and
navigate the complex social and mental health systems. Lisa has also worked in the community and healthcare settings with individuals in crisis and helped them navigate systemic issues to move toward recovery. Lisa has lead support and educational groups for adults, and youth over the past ten years. Lisa believes clients are experts in their own lives and will meet the person where they are in the therapeutic journey. Sometimes people need a couple of sessions to process painful trauma and feel great relief, while others may require more time. She believes generally a bottom-up approach is best to help people process trauma and move forward to be the best versions of themselves. Lisa is certified
in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She also utilizes Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other Integrative therapeutic interventions to help her clients achieve their goals. Lisa believes in a client-focused approach so that individuals are more motivated throughout the therapeutic process and able to find more permanent solutions that work for them.

During the Spring seasons Lisa spends a lot of time with her two oldest children at their baseball and
softball games and can often be found chasing around her toddler. She enjoys road trips with her
husband and three children during the summer.

Michelle is passionate about increasing access to mental health services for all individuals. She strives to assist those who are underserved and advocates for those who have experienced increased societal stigma. Michelle believes that clients should take charge of their care and she encourages freedom of choice in each session.
